Outwood Academy Haydock - Determined Admission Arrangements 2027/28
Thank you to everyone who took the time to be part of our consultation on the reduction of our published admissions number for September 2027.
The feedback was largely positive and appreciated. I would like to address the only comment that was made:
The local authority has agreed that student numbers across the area have fallen and there is no indication they are due to rise in coming years. If, in future the numbers coming through from primary schools selecting Outwood Academy Haydock as their preference secondary school, we would work with the local authority to review the admission number.
All students are at the forefront of everything we do, any changes would never be at the detriment of anyone.

Page. Applications for a place at the school must still be applied for via
St Helen’s Admissions.
